Macbeth opens 

It’s here, the second half of our 2018 REP season has arrived. Our brand new female-led Macbeth, abridged by Moira Buffini and directed by Natasha Nixon hits the West End on 20 November. Catch this gender fluid exploration of Shakespeare’s classic, and see our talent REP Company in action.

Auditions Access Fund venues announced 

This year we've launched our Auditions Access Fund, supported by NYT Alumnus and Patron Hugh Bonneville, supporting free participation in workshops and auditions over three years at 30 schools and youth groups around Great Britain which have lost drama provision. 

We're delighted to announce the first of our partner organisations and venues for 2019, with more to be announced in coming weeks, as: 
Theatre for Life Youth Theatre - Southampton
Pembrokeshire College - Haverfordwest
The Ebbsfleet Academy - Ebbsfleet, Kent 
Cockburn John Charles Academy - Leeds
The English Martyrs School and Sixth Form College - Hartlepool  
Liskeard School and Community College - Liskeard, Cornwall 

If you're a young person aged 14-25 local to the area who wishes to take part in the free workshop and audition, you can apply to take part here.


Casting Auditions 

Are you a current NYT member? Don’t forget, casting auditions are now open for booking if you’d like to get involved in any of our 2019 productions or our 2019 REP Company. This year our casting auditions are taking place in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and Newcastle.

Don’t forget, applications are now open for our February masterclasses in London and Norwich. Brush up your skills in audition technique, or performing Shakespeare, or develop your writing and directing practice with industry professionals.
